וַיָּבֹ֥א חוּשַׁ֛י רֵעֶ֥ה דָוִ֖ד הָעִ֑יר וְאַבְשָׁלֹ֔ם יָבֹ֖א יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

So Hushai David’s friend came into the city; and Absalom was at the point of coming into Jerusalem.

Was going to come to Yerosholoyim. Started thinking about coming to Yerusholoyim.¹⁶יָבוֹא denotes he will come in the future.
